    Red and Black Bug Attack

Boisea trvittata is an American species of true bug, commonly known as the Boxelder Bug, Love Bug or Maple Bug. It is found primarily on boxelder, maple and ash trees. They will form huge colorful clusters while sunning themselves in areas near their host plant. However their extremely large presence can be frighten and annoy people. This issue is a big problem during Autumn season. As the trees start to shed their leaves the boxelder bug will find harbor somewhere else. The common area is your home, where they can winterize in your siding. They love to nest in the sunniest spots of your house; along with the colorful arrangement comes their yellow feces being applied all you’re your home. Another common place is your car, the heat that your car has when sitting in the sun is heaven to them. This can be an expensive issue, they have been known to damage the electricity in your car and I have seen them nesting in someone’s radio. Always be cautious when you see them away from your home, there great hitchhikers and you could bring them back to your house. It only takes a few to develop a major infestation in a few years. The population of boxelder bugs can quickly get out of hand, early detection is necessary to managing the growth of your boxelder bugs.
